If you build it, they will come. That's the idea behind Flower City Habitat For Humanity's Leaders Build luncheon.

Instead of meeting in a downtown hotel, Habitat brought community leaders to the heart of Rochester's Josana neighborhood.

Developer John Billone Jr., from Flower City Management, is this year's winner of the "Golden Hammer Award."

"People have a lot of choices about where to focus their energies. John and his family have chosen to invest in Rochester, and in so doing have made immeasurable change in the quality of life in the city," said Tim Scahill, a Habitat for Humanity board member.

"The dedication, the commitment, the vision, passion, pride of not only our family but our staff is really what makes this happen," said Billone, Jr.
